Bobby Crim was born on December 10, 1931. He served in the United States Navy from 1950-54 and earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Michigan. He taught in the Davison Community Schools in Davison, Michigan, from 1959 to 1960 and then in the Flint Community Schools in Flint, Michigan from 1961 to 1964.
